Challenge
We conducted a crop loss assessment for Royal Exchange General Insurance Company Limited. An assessment aimed at determining the percentage of crop loss experienced on farms insured by them
What we did
We assessed the land in accordance with the indemnity claims protocol. The parameters assessed on the field includes; crop density, growth stage, crop vigor, rate of pest and diseases, signs of flooding and grazing.
We highlighted the causes of the crop losses in the area and we revealed the experiences of farmers in the area. Additionally, we recommended precautionary measures to avoid such occurrences again in the future.
