Challenge
Our crop loss assessment services was needed to determine the cause of the loss experienced on the farm and to what extent the farm was affected. Specifically, the aim of the crop loss assessment was to ascertain the percentage loss experienced on the insured coconut and cassava farms.
What we did
We conducted a crop loss assessment for the client. We assessed the entire farmland, established the size of the farmland using precision agriculture tools. We evaluated the field and recorded data based on crop density, planting space, crop vigor, survival rate, and other possible causes of the fire outbreak as parameters. We also recommended practical ways to curb such activities in the future.
